Wake-up gently to prepare for your day with poolside, sunrise yoga. Yoga can be a complex and often intimidating word for those who have never practiced. Whether you are experienced or a novice, yoga practice can lend many benefits to your mental, emotional and physical well being. Most of our participants are surprised by the way yoga can provide both and intense physical and peaceful mental workout. Gaining these benefits requires the assistance of a devoted teacher during your time with us. As always, our goal is for you to capture the knowledge and take it with you into your yoga practice at home.

Surround yourself with the awe-inspiring majesty of 10,000 foot wooded peaks. Trek the winding trails through diverse desert landscapes, meadows, fern-forests, manzanitas, and snow-caps. Hike at your own pace or challenge yourself to a personalized cardio workout guided by an experienced trainer. When you accept the challenge of a personalized cardio workout through the mountains, you will be amazed at the new feelings your body can experience in a walking exercise. Many people turn away from the thought of running for fitness. These hikes give you a chance to learn new benefits of walking while spending time contemplating natural beauty.

Water Aerobics

After lunch, cool off and recharge with an outdoor water aerobics class. Water aerobics class at The Pinnacle Challenge is a time to listen to fun music and dig into some team competitions. Water aerobics is not just for old ladies, either, our time in the pool works to utilize muscles you do not typically flex in other types of exercise. The techniques you will learn in this class will give you an alternative exercise to rest your overused muscles while still burning calories and working out. Take this alternative exercise home with you for those days when another trip to the gym is not appealing!

Circuit Training

Take part in an outdoor circuit-training event for a new challenge. Test your reaction time, speed, awareness and strength with engaging exercises that make you forget you are working out. These are not typical boot camp challenges that wear you out for the rest of the day. Our teams always revel in the feeling of total competitive release through fun games and energizing activities. Relaxing Massage

Experience firsthand why recover is so important - enjoy our plethora of recovery techniques to restore your body and prepare you for the next day. Let our certified massage therapists help you relax and loosen tight muscles. You receive two private restorative massages during the week and receive your choice of method: deep tissue, Swedish, Thai, sports or combination. You will enjoy learning how to provide similar restorative benefits without the expense or time spent on a masseuse through instruction in foam-rolling (self-myofascial release) and stretching techniques to relieve soreness today and in the future. Through this educational experience, you can control the way your body responds to difficult physical activity, whether it is a hard workout or a long day at your desk.
