Lisa Austin

Born and raised in Texas, Lisa Austin is an incredible trainer and athlete with diverse experience and an inspirational style. After receiving her B. A. in Exercise and Sports Studies at the University Of Texas at Arlington, Lisa knew she was destined for a career in fitness.
Lisa Austin was an NCAA All-American triple jumper at UTA and finished eighth at the US Olympic Trials in 1996. From 1996-1998, Lisa coached Track and Field at the University Nevada Las Vegas. Her prior experience also includes the development of fitness training for athletes on the professional women's tennis tour, including Jennifer Capriati, Martina Navratilova and Eleni Daniliidou. Lisa also co-contributed to the book, "Shape Yourself" written by Martina Navratilova.
Lisa moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing her fitness career. She owned her own gym then went on to train clients at the Spectrum Club in the South Bay for the past 9 years. She teaches Spinning, Core Training, Cardio Kickboxing and Yoga. Lisa has been a presenter with Reebok group exercise programs as a Reebok Master Trainer.
Through her years of training, Lisa had her sights on outdoor fitness. It was a perfect scenario for Lisa, Meredith Miller and Robin Sullivan to come together to establish The Pinnacle. "I love working Robin and Meredith. I think we provide an ideal combination of talents with different backgrounds and specializations," Lisa says.
Lisa loves helping her clients reach new heights with their fitness goals. "I love watching my clients discover the mental challenge that is the physical challenge, and helping them break through it, "Lisa says. "It's a very unique, long-lasting connection you make with someone when you help them confront mental and physical obstacles."
Lisa currently lives in Redondo Beach and likes to mountain bike, play squash and tennis. In addition, she enjoys hip-hop dance workouts and spending time with the people in her life.
Robin Sullivan

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Robin Sullivan has trained clients for more than 20 years. Her wide range of experience, intensive knowledge and passion for fitness creates an extraordinary training experience for her clients.
Ever since childhood, Robin has been an avid runner and participated in sports, including track, basketball and soccer. Directly after graduating from high school, Robin started teaching group classes at a women's fitness center while she attended the University of Washington. She found her calling and obtained her personal training certification, started managing the programs at three fitness clubs and continued to teach group fitness classes, all while pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree.
In 2000, Robin moved to California to live at the beach and pursue her active lifestyle in Los Angeles' welcoming climate. "The community I live in is extremely athletic," Robin says. "On any given day I will see 70-year-olds play volleyball on the beach. I love having the chance to pursue a healthy lifestyle outdoors, an option that I didn't have in Seattle." Upon moving to Manhattan Beach, Robin immediately started running the Group Fitness Program for the Beach Cities Health District. In addition, she teaches cycling, core and stretch classes, does personal training, and works with specialized equipment.
Robin's inspiration for the Pinnacle came after a weeklong Ashram retreat. She loved the experience but could not continue to make the time commitment. This sparked the idea of a compact, intensive program. She and her co-founders, Meredith and Lisa, visited Palm Springs for a hiking excursion through the sublime Indian Canyons. "We had such a blast, and the experience was extremely cleansing and very unique," she says. "You go from being in the desert with beautiful rock formations and cacti to the forest with huge pine cones and trees. It's serene and beautiful and, ultimately, is a natural oasis." The trainers knew they had to share the transformative experience with others.
Robin held on to the goal of making the experience accessible to everyone. "The Pinnacle Challenge is not just for athletes. People from every fitness level can do this and enjoy significant benefits, " Robin says. "To be able to lead people through this retreat is a wonderful experience. I love being able to help others make healthy changes in their lives. I truly believe that, even in the short time we have you, we can help you make changes in your diet and physical abilities that will, ultimately, help you lead a longer, more fulfilling life."
In Robin's spare time, she likes to hike, run, play tennis, practice yoga and train at Level 10 Manhattan beach.
Meredith Miller

Born and raised in Southlake, Texas, Meredith Miller is a fierce trainer known for her motivational and inspiring style. While she coaches elite athletes in the AVP, UFC, and NCAA Division I, including three-time Olympian Volleyball player Holly McPeak, she also works with beginners and young adults.
Meredith studied Exercise Physiology at Baylor University, where she attended on a softball scholarship and was captain of the team. Her passion for fitness stems back to when she was a child - she played nearly every sport, including basketball, softball, soccer, and track. "I've always liked team sports and group workouts, being a leader, and inspiring other people," Meredith says. Meredith's first experience training others was as a Strength and Conditioning coach for a football team in Texas. After moving to California for an internship with UCLA, she fell in love with active California lifestyle. In this position, Meredith met Gabrielle Reece, who inspired her to focus on private and group training and open Level 10 in Manhattan Beach.
Meredith was ready to take on new goals with the Pinnacle Challenge. "The Pinnacle is a one-of-a-kind fitness challenge," Meredith says. "I've never experienced anything like this before and we knew we had to recreate this experience for everyone. When you're hiking at this location, you totally free your mind and your body loves it and you are liberated and challenged at the same time."
Creativity is key to The Pinnacle Challenge, as Meredith and the other founders utilize the body's innate skills of adaptation to create a fun, challenging workout that you are inspired to take home with you. "I love making a difference in people's lives simply by educating them and challenging them the way others have done for me. I like helping clients realize the amazing things our bodies can do when we use our mind to overcome obstacles."
Meredith currently lives in the Los Angeles area and participates in wide range of fitness activities during her free time. She trains with Krav Maga, plays in a beach flag football league, runs and practices yoga.
